This award winning design was completed by P.J.Walls in 1994. The design team for the project included Architects Jim Coady and associates and the services were designed by MacArdle McSweeney associates.

This building was completed by McNamara & Co. in July 2000 and houses the training laboratories and lecture facilities for the Royal College of Surgeons. Richard Hurley and Associates designed the building and the services engineers were V.M.R.A. The building is very highly serviced including medical gasses, fume extract, pure water and steam systems.

The college building, located off Thomas Street was completed by G & T Crampton in August 1998. The 6 storey building was designed by Doyle architects and the services engineers were Homan O'Brien Associates. Heating is by means of a standard L.P.H.W system and ventilation to each area is achieved by local floor standing A.H.U's. Cooling to office areas is by split A.C. units with local controllers.
